St. George, UT – The Rural Health Association of Utah (RHAU) is excited to launch its new RHAU Rural Resource Webinar Series, a monthly virtual event designed to connect rural Utahns with vital resources. Thanks to a generous donation from Intermountain Health, this series will feature 2-3 expert presenters from both state and national organizations, showcasing resources available to rural communities throughout Utah.
The webinars will be held on the first Thursday of each month from 12:00-1:00 p.m., kicking off on Thursday, March 6, 2025. The inaugural session will feature My mHealth, presenting their myCOPD tool, and the University of Utah School of Dentistry, sharing details about their Mobile Wellness Van & Associated Provider Program. Interested participants can RSVP for the session here.
Each session will be recorded and made available on-demand via the RHAU website, creating a growing library of accessible resources. The series will cover a wide range of topics, with each session focusing on tools and support specifically tailored for rural Utah communities. The goal is to ensure these resources have the greatest possible impact by providing easy access to valuable information.
“This series was born from a clear need identified after our 2024 Annual RHAU Conference,” says Kasey Shakespear, Executive Director of RHAU. “Many organizations have great programs but struggle to connect with rural Utah communities. This initiative will bridge that gap and help ensure that essential resources reach the people who need them most.”
The RHAU Rural Resource Webinar Series presents an exciting opportunity for healthcare professionals in rural Utah to discover tools and strategies to better serve their communities. It also offers RHAU members a platform to raise awareness and share their efforts to address the unique needs of rural populations.
